Wicked Reports now integrates with PayPal, the open digital payments platform company. With nearly 200 million active account holders PayPal enables customers to connect and transact whether they are online, on a mobile device, in an app, or in person.
With this integration PayPal users will know where their customers came from and why the sale appeared. Wicked Reports pulls in costs, clicks, leads, and sales to one data warehouse and that shifts the criteria for success from cost per click to return on investment.
To get full and accurate attribution data, you follow these two simple steps:
Note: Authorizing PayPal is a crucial step in attributing sales inside Wicked Reports but is not the only requirement. You must still collect orders from your own order forms. It's important that our Wicked Tracking Code is still on the order form where the customer makes a purchase. If you use the PayPal Order Forms, Wicked Reports will pull in your orders but they will likely NOT have any "Last Click" attribution as we won't know where the customer click came from.
If orders do not go into the Wicked Reports CRM, you must first authorize PayPal inside Wicked Reports. This may happen if you are not using Ontraport or Infusionsoft or if you offer PayPal as an option. PayPal requires an API signature for the authorization process.
A video in the Wicked Reports KnowledgeBase takes customers through the authorization process from start to finish, giving simple clear directions. The KnowledgeBase also includes easy-to-follow written instructions.
